1. About Us
AnimeLab Tokyo is an online retailer of authentic Japanese anime collectibles, including Ichiban Kuji prizes, Gashapon capsule toys, and licensed figures. We ship from Japan to customers worldwide.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make a purchase. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into binding contracts.
3. Products & Authenticity
All items sold by AnimeLab Tokyo are 100% authentic and sourced from licensed Japanese retailers and distributors. We do not sell counterfeit, bootleg, or unauthorized merchandise.
Product photos are taken in-house and represent the actual item as accurately as possible. Colors and details may vary slightly due to lighting, screen settings, and manufacturer batch variations. Item conditions (such as "open box" or "outer box damage") are clearly stated on the product page.
4. Pricing & Availability
All prices are listed in GBP (or your local currency depending on your region) and exclude any applicable customs duties or import taxes.
We reserve the right to update prices at any time without notice, limit quantities purchased per customer, refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, and correct any errors in product pricing or description.
Stock is limited and based on real-time inventory. Listing a product on our website does not guarantee availability.
5. Orders & Payment
When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase. Your order is confirmed only when we send you an order confirmation email.
We accept payment via credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal (where available). Payment is taken at the time of purchase. All transactions are processed securely.

7. Returns & Refunds
Returns and refunds are handled per our Refund Policy. UK and EU customers retain their statutory rights under consumer protection laws.
8. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, characters, and product designs belong to their respective rights holders (anime studios, manufacturers, etc.). AnimeLab Tokyo does not claim ownership of any third-party intellectual property and operates as an authorized reseller of authentic licensed merchandise.
The AnimeLab Tokyo name, logo, and website content (excluding licensed product images) are the property of AnimeLab Tokyo and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnimeLab Tokyo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; loss of profits, data, or business opportunities; or delays caused by customs, carriers, or events beyond our control (force majeure).
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud where excluded by law.
10. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, war, strikes, or carrier disruptions.
11. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold AnimeLab Tokyo harmless from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tokyo, Japan, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise. UK and EU customers retain their statutory rights under their local consumer protection laws.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
